The passion of Outreach America is found in its Challenge Ministry.  It has been described as "Wild At Heart" for students.  Others have called it "ministry on steroids."  Whatever the label, it is adventure, excitement, challenge, passion, and conviction all rolled into one "out of the box" experience. 

From the renowned "Paintball Xtreme" events, to rock climbing, to bouldering, to white water rafting, to repelling, to camping and wilderness adventures, the Challenge Ministry doesn't guarantee you'll conquer your fears, but it will guarantee that you will face your fears.  Yes, the program is high intensity, but it does have a purpose beyond a testosterone rush.  The Challenge Ministry is dedicated to leadership development.  Every "adventure" is carefully designed to teach real life-skill lessons in Biblical leadership.  The core of the program is built around discipleship and the quest for spiritual maturity.

The Challenge Ministry is led by certified instructors with a passion for raising up a generation of young people who are committed to the standards, values and character required for true Biblical leadership.  The progam embodies mentorship and accountability.  It operates on the "small-group" format, and is designed for those students who want to take thieir faith to another level...literally.  Raising up young people with a passionate heart for living an uncompromising life for Christ, equipping them to effectively lead others in the quest for truth, and empowering them for a life of discipleship is the vision and purpose of Outreach America's unique Challenge Ministry.
